Your Daintree Day including Jungle Surfing
After we pick you up from your Port Douglas accommodation we head north towards the rainforest. We pass through sugar cane fields and the sugar town of Mossman, before we arrive at the Daintree River. An old fashioned cable car ferry will carry us across and straight into the lush greenness of the forest. Winding our way over the mountain range while keeping an eye out for cassowaries, we stop at the Mardjja Boardwalk for a self-guided rainforest walk.
We then head towards Cape Tribulation for an exhilarating tour high up in the forest with Jungle Surfing canopy tours. This unique eco adventure takes you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zip lining tour, stopping at six tree platforms with breathtaking views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. The tour is fully guided with informative talks on each platform.
Afterwards we take you to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch, followed by a guided walk along one of Cape Tribulation’s tropical beaches. On our way back to Port Douglas we stop at the Daintree Ice cream company to top off the day with a tropical fruit ice cream.

Not keen on heights?
The Jungle Surfing team are very experienced and will definitely make you feel at ease. But if you would rather keep your feet on the ground, here are some options if you want to give Jungle Surfing a miss:
- Go for a stroll along Myall Beach or laze in the shade of a tree
- Wander along Dubuji boardwalk and admire the fan palms and mangroves
- Go for a refreshing swim in a fresh water swimming hole

Your Daintree Day including Horse Riding
The day looks exactly the same as the itinerary above but instead of Jungle Surfing you can opt for a 1.5 hour horse ride with Cape Trib Horse Rides. They will take your for a ride in the oldest living rainforest in the world. You will ride through crystal clear mountain streams, through paddocks and along riverbeds before arriving on Myall beach where you can ride along the ocean’s edge and soak up the tropical atmosphere.
